Since 1965, Marcía Morse has continuously shown in solo, small group, juried and invitational exhibitions across the Hawaiian Islands including The Contemporary Museum/First Hawaiian Center, the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and two recent solo exhibitions of prints in her ongoing series, Women in Black, at Nu‘uanu Gallery and the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Morse’s work can be found internationally in private and corporate collections in the U.S., Japan, and Europe, and is the recipient of several purchase awards from the Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. Morse is also the recipient of an individual fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts for her work in hand-papermaking.
